finally have a website that's live on the internet

So for the last couple month's we've been coding websites that never actually see the light of day but today is the day that one finally went live on the internet. I made it about why pharmaceutical drugs aren't the greatest choice & why you should use alternative ways to deal with your health issue's. I wrote it about this because I took a prescription drug for the better part of my life & it turned me into a zombie so I figured if I could shed some light on this topic to people who are ignorant to it I might be able to help some people. Anyways, I'm unnecessarily excited about this & I can't wait to make some money off of what I've learned. :-)

copyright website

The first website I did was one on copyright. This was interesting because copyright is something I never looked into too deeply but after I did my research I realized it's importance in my career field.
This is a project that I'm very glad Mr. Williams assigned us. Not only was the learning portion of this assignment helpful but the coding & design challenges that it presented were helpful as well. I learned quite a bit more about coding on this project & I had a general idea of how I wanted this website to look so if there was something that I didn't know or if there was something we hadn't been taught yet I searched the internet & read tutorials until I figured out how to do what I wanted.

still coding

We're in our second month of web design & I have to say I'm proud of the progress I've made. Aside from all of the ridiculous things that have been going on in my life I've still managed to keep up with the class & I've accomplished quite a bit. Mr. Williams has done a great job of presenting the information in such a way that we could understand it. I've coded & wrote for 3 website's so far & they have all turned out extremely well in my opinion. I'm enjoying coding just as much if not more than I expected to & I still don't know everything there is to know. Which makes it that much more exciting.

coding coding coding

i haven't updated my blog in quite a while but i have come a long way since the last time i've posted something. the class i am in now is about HTML & coding, which is something i am extremely excited to learn about. one of my favorite artists, childish gambino, once said in a interview that everything is moving to the internet & everybody should learn how to code because one day it's going to be very important. ever since then i've been eager to find out what it is & how i can do it, so now that i've been given the opportunity i plan on taking full advantage & becoming as knowledgeable as i can possibly be on the subject. mr. williams is doing a great job of making things easy to understand & being as thorough as he can be which is something im grateful for. i look forward to whatever the next 3 months have in store for us.

the last blog post for illustration!!!!

This weeks blog post is about drawing. We do weekly drawings in my class which at first I dreaded but eventually came around to see how useful they would be in the end. Drawing definitely isn't my strong suit but I have always been open to trying new things. Especially in this instance because I may need it somewhere down the line as I'm working as a graphic designer. I definitely enjoyed it. Not only the drawing part but the extra skills I have attained through the process. I believe I've seen some improvement in my drawing skills. Nothing drastic but definitely an improvement so I'd like to thank Mrs. Percy for making us do them. I like using pencils the best. Not just because I can erase my mistakes (which were plentiful) but I feel it gives the picture a different more serious effect than if I was using a pen or some crayons. Below is a drawing of mine that I liked the best.
